Ahrex FW530 Sedge Dry Hooks

The Ahrex FW530 is a Sedge Dry Hook, which is designed with a longer curved shank to represent longer caddisflies, stoneflies, or even terrestrials. The slight curve to the shank adds a natural touch to any fly you tie on this hook. When fish are picky, sometimes even the slightest lifelike touch will change a refusal to a take. This can be helpful when fish are seeing a lot of the same patterns and know how to avoid them; seeing a shape that they don't see very often might be able to trigger a strike. As is the standard with the Ahrex FW series, the FW530 has a black nickel finish and, chemically sharpened barb.
