Advanced Boron III Technology - Winston’s Boron III Technology has revolutionized fly rod strength and lightweight rod design. Boron is 5x stronger than steel, 2x stiffer than steel, and 25% stronger than other graphite rods. Boron also has increased impact resistance and overall rod stability. Boron blanks have smoother energy transfer, increased hook setting power, and improved casting accuracy.

Satin-Finished Stripping Guide w/Silicon Nitride Ring - A Satin-finished stripping guide adds durability and performance to the Air TH Spey rods. A Nitride ring also helps Spey lines shoot through the guides more easily.

Hard Chrome Snake Guides - These snake guides improve the castability and accuracy of the Air TH without adding unnecessary weight to the rod. They’re also saltwater safe.

Reel Seat

Anodized Aluminum w/Double Downlocking Components - The reel seat on the Air TH Spey is made with durable anodized aluminum that sheds saltwater and resists corrosion. The double downlocking component anchors larger Spey reels for improved performance. The Air TH also has a high-quality cork grip that supports infinite hand placement for optimal casting efficiency and fish-fighting leverage.

Rod Tube

Premium Graphite Rod Tube - Winston’s classic green graphite rod tube matches the blank color of the Air TH. These tubes hold up well in all conditions and protect the rod during travel and transportation. The Air TH also comes with a rod sock with an embroidered Winston logo.

Warranty

Winston Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee - As of June 2019, Winston’s original owner guarantee covers every new Winston Boron/Graphite and Graphite fly rod against breakage or manufacturer defects. The rod owner must register the rod via warranty card or online. For all warranty work, the entire rod must be returned to Winston.
