Crafted with the intention of being a perfect BWO nymph representation that sinks quickly, this nymph has Craven's classic ribbed SuperHair body, a heavy tungsten bead, a flashback wingcase, and a (near bulletproof) tear-drop profile shaped from Loon's UV Knot Sense.
Slim in appearance and designed to sink, this nymph works wonders in matching any of the 150 or so Blue Winged Olives around, and its flashy wingcase even allows you to match the bubble of air found on emerging mayflies. While the Tungsten Juju Baetis is a great choice for matching BWOs, it's a fly that can be used just as well to match other small, slim mayflies and can be fished any time of year, especially early spring through late fall when olives might be hatching. A fly that should be in your box, whether you're on Letort Spring Run or the South Platte, this is a nymph that brings good juju wherever you end up.
