This Fly Rod is in G condition.9ft 8wt 3-piece fly rod.This Orvis Battenkill Salmon appears to have never seen the water. The rod is a standard Battenkill build with a dark impregnated cane and dark burgundy wraps throughout. The reel seat is an up locking with a wood spacer. Additionally, there is a bottom handle that fits into the butt section to allow for two-handed use. The cork on both handles is very nice with minimal signs of use. The varnish is nearly perfect as well. There are stress cracks at each ferrule wrap, indicating some light use, but overall, the rod shows little wear. Each section is full-length and straight. A wonderful heavy action rod ready for any steelhead or salmon situation.
