Uses

Streamers, Poppers, Nymphs, and Terrestrials

The Master Panfish Fly Line was built around slower-action rods and those made of glass and bamboo, however, it's true-to-weight build and specialized taper allows you to present anything from lightweight Clouser Minnows to small nymphs and all the way to air-resistant poppers. This line allows you to fish your entire panfish box while enjoying every part of it, but if you want a panfish line that'll load fast-action rods a bit deeper, SA's Amplitude Smooth Panfish Line is a great option.

Moderate to warm - From the first panfish after ice out to the warmest days of summer, this line stands up to every moderate to warmwater environment you find yourself in without it getting limp or stiff.

Taper/Weight

Scientific Anglers built their Mastery Panfish Line to handle all panfish situations and designed the taper and its true-to-weight configuration to work flawlessly with slower-action graphite rods, as well as glass and bamboo fly rods. This taper takes SA's popular Mastery taper and adapts it to a panfish line with a 45' head and 6' front taper that allows for solid distance while being able to cut through wind and roll cast your way to the outside of the shoreline weeds.
