Sage Click Fly Reel

The Click series is Sage's minimalist trout reel built for anglers who prefer a traditional click-and-pawl drag system. The Click offers high-end durability and is built from the finest materials, including cold-forged 6061-T6 aluminum. Its durability, however, doesn't equate to a heavy reel. The Click is incredibly lightweight (in part because of its drag system) and sports a large arbor for impeccable trout-wrangling capabilities.

Design

Modern Aesthetic with Classic Performance - The Click is designed to be a minimalist trout-specific reel. A large arbor increases retrieval rates and adds a larger palming area for hard-fighting fish. Durable aluminum increases the rigidity of the reel without sacrificing lightweight performance. Similarly, a click-and-pawl drag system keeps the reel lightweight and invokes a classic reel design that trout anglers know and love.

Finish

Hard-Anodized Finish - The Click is finished with a hard anodized finish to protect the surface of the reel from corrosion and other wear and tear. Anodizing is a popular way to finish reels in the fly fishing industry because of its ability to preserve the integrity of the reel without adding unneeded weight.

Materials

Fully Machined 6061-T6 Aluminum - The Click is fully machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum. After the reel is machined, it's then cold forged and tempered for increased strength and rigidity. Sage used top-of-the-line materials in the production of this reel, and its durability and resistance to dings and scrapes are a testament to that.

Drag

Type - The Click series features an adjustable click-and-pawl drag system. The adjustability of the system prevents over-spooling, and the classic click design allows anglers to traditionally battle trout without the help of modern disc drag systems.

Materials - The click-and-pawl drag of the Click series is made with composite materials for a distinctive sound and ample durability. The minimalist drag system also decreases overall reel weight for enhanced lightweight freshwater performance.

Arbor Size

Large Arbor - The large arbor of the Click increases line pickup and helps anglers fight freshwater fish on a single-handed fly rod. The large arbor design of the Click also increases retrieval rates and allows anglers to gain more line on any fish from Trout to Panfish.

Warranty

The Sage Lifetime Warranty - As of January 2021, Every new Sage rod, blank and Sage reel is covered by a lifetime, original owner warranty. One of the finest warranties in the business, it covers defects in materials or workmanship as well as rods that fail due to misuse, negligence, or normal wear-and-tear.
