Purpose-built tube mandrel system - This vise is designed around tube flies and comes with mandrels and handles tubes up to 4 inches long. The included mandrels give you a clean, centered tie-in on common tube diameters so materials track true as you build bodies, wings, and collars.

Rotary tension control and stable support - A rotary tension screw lets you dial in rotation feel for your tying pace, whether you want free spinning for wrapping or more resistance for precise positioning. The vise is offered with a black powder-coated pedestal base with a 7-inch stem, or a black powder-coated C-Clamp with an 8-inch stem, so you can choose bench stability or edge-of-table grip based on how you tie.

Adjustability / Ergonomics

The tube setup keeps your work centered on the mandrel, which helps you see thread placement and keep proportions consistent from fly to fly.
