Design

Materials
Fully Machined Aluminum - Built around long-lasting durability and super lightweight performance, Lamson crafts the Purist II out of fully machined aluminum. Drag
Click Pawl Drag System - Lightweight, straightforward, and a beauty of a singer, this click pawl-designed reel is ready for whatever freshwater situation you get yourself into. Obviously, there's no drag other than your hand, but the large arbor design makes for extra fast line pickup should you hook into a hot fish and need to act fast.

Materials - Apart from the clicker itself, Lamson's click pawl drag system is made of very few parts. This reduces the overall weight of the reel and streamlines performance when chasing fish that don't pull a ton of drag.

Large Arbor - For the line weight options of the Purist II, it has a very large arbor. This makes for super-fast line pickup that's increased by 30%, and the spool itself holds 60 yards of 20# backing.

Warranty
Lamson Warranty - As of July 2024, Lamson offers the original owner a lifetime warranty that covers defects in material and/or workmanship. Lamson's warranty does not cover issues due to user error, misuse, or improper maintenance. Lamson charges a $35 processing fee and reserves the right to repair or replace your reel at their own discretion.
