Uses

Life-Flex is most commonly used as a legging material for nymphs, terrestrials, streamers, and crustaceans, however, it can also be wound to tie cleanly segmented bodies.

Comparisons

Hareline's Loco Legs are another solid legging material, however, they don't have the same composition as Life-Flex. Like many other synthetic legs, Loco Legs are a bit thicker and are made from a different material, which gives them a slightly different action in the water and can't be used to wrap a clean body like Life-Flex can. Also, Loco Legs have flecks of contrasting color on them instead of being solid colors like Life-Flex. Both of these materials are great options when you want to enhance movement, but depending on what you're imitating, one may be a better choice.
