Uses

While you can certainly dub bodies on things like streamers, leeches, crayfish, and shrimp with Bruiser Blend Dubbing, it offers more than just that. Due to its long fibers, this material can also be used to sculpt heads on streamers that really push water-and whenever you want to reduce the friction on a fly's head to add a gliding motion, a thin layer of adhesive such as Liquid Fusion can be applied. Easy to work with and full of different uses, Bruiser Blend is a staple material at the vise.

Comparisons

A dubbing that also has long fibers and can be used very similarly to Bruiser Blend is Senyo's Fusion Dub. Fusion Dub offers a similar consistency and can be used quite similarly to Bruiser Blend Dubbing. Where the two differ is that Bruiser Blend is Fly Fish Food's proprietary blend whereas Fusion Dub is a combination of Ice Dub and Trilobal Fibers, and the assortment of colors does differ between the two.
