Egg Bandit Sculpin Fly

The Egg Bandit Sculpin was developed by signature tyer Kris Anderson at Umpqua Feather Merchants as a hybrid stream/swim‐pattern built for steelhead, salmon, and searun cutthroat, though, it’s equally deadly anywhere egg-laden fish exist. This realistic fly combines a sculpin–profile with a bright “egg” head, which fish key in on and triggers aggressive strikes. The Egg Bandit excels anytime spawning is going on in your water system, and it particularly thrives when used in the Pacific Northwest, Great Lakes tributaries, and Alaska. This fly brings a solid meal to all fish, and its flashy yet realistic appearance fools even the toughest fish, while its rear hook does the heavy lifting for grabby fish that attack the tail first.
