Echo King Spey Rod

Until now, it's been tough to find a 13' Spey rod strong enough to stop the reel-screaming runs of a King Salmon. The Echo King Spey Series includes two rod models (a 9wt and 10wt) that are designed specifically for dredging heavy lines and for fighting heavy fish. The King rod series features a sporty blank and a stout butt section to stop running King Salmon in their tracks. Blank

Lightweight High-Modulus Blank - The blank of the King utilizes high-modulus graphite and stout blank walls to make the rods both strong and maneuverable. Rajeff Sports has designed the blank to be medium - fast action to encourage a moderate casting stroke and to make lifting heavy lines easier on the water. The blank color is gloss jet black with deep red thread and metallic trim; the aesthetics of this rod are pretty snazzy.

TiCH Low-Profile Stripping Guides - The Echo King rods have two TiCH low-profile stripping guides to allow fly line to move through the rod with ease. These guides create low friction and low resistance when casting or retrieving line to simplify an angler's connection to the fish.

Hard Chrome-Plated Snake Guides - Hard chrome snake guides add durable functionality to the design of the Echo King. These guides are extremely tough and stand up to abuse on and off the water.

Reel Seat

Anodized Aluminum - The Echo King Spey Series has a corrosion-proof black anodized aluminum reel seat designed to protect against the elements and efficiently hold a Spey reel in place without adding extra weight to the rod. A double uplocking component helps secure large reels.

Rod Tube

Fabric-Covered Rod Tube - The Echo King comes with a black fabric-covered rod tube and rod sock to store and transport the rod safely. Echo's rod tube is tried and true and comes with an Echo insignia and rod model label.

Warranty

Echo Fly Rod Lifetime Warranty - Echo will repair or replace any defective or damaged rods for the entire lifetime of the original owner. All rods must be sent to Echo for repairs/service. As of 4/17/2019, Echo charges a $35 fee for fly rod repairs/replacements.
