The Story

Chicones Fettuccine Foam is a foam strip that can be used in a variety of different ways. The main purpose of the material is to add floatation. But there are infinite ways to apply it. It can be stacked like deer hair, used in more subtle ways where it isn't necessarily visible but still adds floatation, or any other way you can think of. There's really a lot of room for creativity with this material.

Uses: Adding floatation elements to patterns

Comparison: Comparable to other fly tying foams out there, with the difference being that Fettuccine foam is cut into a distinct fettuccine shape, where other foams might just be large sheets that you have to cut yourself.

Example Flies: Drew Chicone's Midnight Special, Pinecone Cicada
