Bead Head Prince Nymph Fly

Offering a slight modification to Doug Prince's famous Prince Nymph Fly, the Bead Head Prince Nymph is a classic Prince Nymph with the addition of a bead head that makes for quick sinking and a hint of flash. The Bead Head Prince Nymph features the same forked tail, ribbed peacock, body, and white wings as the Prince Nymph and is designed to match stoneflies. However, anglers around the globe have found that it's an excellent buggy imitation, and some argue that the added bead makes the Bead Head Prince a more effective fly. Whether you want it to match a specific nymph or just want to use it as an attracting pattern, the Bead Head Prince Nymph can be fished all year long on a tight line or underneath an indicator.

The Bead Head Prince Nymph allows you to get deeper quicker and excels in fast-moving water, and the bead head also makes it a great fly to include in a rig of multiple nymphs.
